Power Protection

Uniquely in Scotland, ScoLocate offers N+N Power Protection.  The facility has dual independent 11kV feeds, backed up by a set of Chloride triple 500kVA modular parallel 90-NET UPS systems (A total of six 500kVA individual UPS are required for the three parallel systems described) and Cummins 1.6 Megawatt, 1.4 Megawatt and 0.8 Megawatt diesel generator sets.  All infrastructure is maintained via strict Planned Maintenance systems and procedures on a regular basis.

All clients are supplied with diverse 16A power strips as standard, connected to separate power distribution boards, thus removing any single point of failure.
