UK Data Center

ScoLocate is Scotland’s largest commercial, carrier neutral, purpose built colocation facility, with over 3,300m² of Data Center space within our 4,900m² facility. The facility is comprised of 3 separate buildings:

Phase II
The first part of ScoLocate's facility to be completed, with a gross useable area of 392m². Phase II has 270m² of Data Center floor space, housing the Telco, ISP, and Internet exchange infrastructure, and houses the dedicated specialised electrical switchgear required to operate this particular type of equipment. Phase II accommodates ScoLocate’s offices and NOC, as well as kitchen and boardroom facilities.

Phase III
Fully completed in May 2001, with a vast useable area of 2,155m², Phase III offers 1163m² of open plan Data Center floor space, spilt into four areas by walls with a 4-hour fire rating.
In addition, Phase III has 230m² of ultra secure vault space, specifically designed for clients for whom total physical security is paramount. Phase III has 260m² of open plan office space, fitted out to a high standard with fully equipped kitchen facilities and toilets, all with disabled access, and also offers 502m² of secure storage space that is controlled by proximity card access and monitored 24 x 365 by our chosen security company.
Plant for Phases III & IV is located on the specifically designed mezzanine floor, featuring two large switch rooms located at opposite ends of the building, which are fed by our fully redundant dual power feed.

Phase IV
Phase IV has been designed to allow for two floors of Data Center space with an area totaling 1,700m². Shell and core construction of this phase is complete, while the internal fit out remains on hold to allow for greater flexibility for potential clients.
