ScoLocate serves as a global communications hub supporting international voice and data traffic transport, routing and monitoring.

As a carrier neutral Data Center, ScoLocate's multi-carrier connectivity provides network and service independence, delivering complete choice, control and resilience.

ScoLocate believe that a carrier neutral environment is critical where corporations, ISPs, ASPs, SSPs and others need to form an eco-system unencumbered by commercial bias towards one network. ScoLocate’s carrier neutrality provides our clients with the flexibility to work with multiple carriers providing better geographical spread for connecting client locations to ScoLocate.

Carriers & ISP’s

ScoLocate are unique in Scotland in being able to offer an unparalleled selection of independent carriers and ISP’s for our clients, for example there are over twenty carrier POP’s and numerous ISP’s ‘s within the ScoLocate facility.

This choice enables our clients to design and implement business solutions confident their IT infrastructure is scalable and available at all times. In addition the convergence of so many carriers and ISP’s within ScoLocate enables our clients to realise incremental operational efficiencies through the use of the facility.

The ScoLocate Data Center is well served by resident Public Telecommunication Operators (PTOs), most of which have had a presence here since the Data Center opened for business in February 2000. All of the PTOs have installed diversely routed, high order fibre networks via ScoLocate’s own duct system.
